• “Sorry I couldn't be there.” Platea video project with An Xiao at MiamiSeven, during ArtBasel, Miami. Video highlighted concerns around geographic access for large art fairs. 11/30 - 12/5/10
• Work: Curse or calling -
Juried, 3 year travelling exhibit with the arts collective CIVA, began at Lawrence and Alletha Barnett Fine Arts Gallery, Springfield, Missouri. 8/27 - 10/1/10
Hashtag class (#class) at Winkelman Gallery,
Chelsea, New York City.
An in-gallery art performance held daily, led by Jen Dalton and William Powhida, from 2/21 - 3/20/10 The objective: “a 'think tank', where we work with guest artists, critics, academics, dealers, collectors and anyone else who would like to participate to examine the way art is made and seen in our culture and to identify and propose alternatives and/or reforms to the current market system. on the question of class, dealers, art market, production, poverty, etc....” Aside from daily participation in real-time via social media networks, ustream, skype and twitter, many of their participants also hosted talks; I deliberated on Social Media and Art with Zachary Adam Cohen and appeared projected onto the wall of the Winkelman gallery to field questions to a live audience via skype while sitting in my Montreal studio.

2009
• #MailART: A Social Media Initiative
This was an online arts initiative in which I rallied and organized collectively with over 70 artists through the social media networking website Twitter. Three groups of artists, including myself, created and exchanged over 2000 individual works of art and then created an online web gallery posted on the photo and image sharing website Flickr. June and November 2009.

• Art and Text: Images, Concepts and Insights

A travelling exhibit curated by Teresia Bush, formerly curator and educator for 26 years at Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum. This juried collective exhibition’s first showing was in Washington, DC, USA at the Dadian Gallery from January 22 to March 4, 2009 and then at the Olson Gallery in St. Paul, Minnesota from April 2 to June 21, 2009.


2008

• Artists interpret the Stations of the Cross - Invited artist for a collective show at St. Stephen’s Church, Westmount, Quebec. Reviewed by CBC radio.
Le Silence dans la Forêt - Collective exhibition of printmakers shown at The Print Studio, Hamilton, Ontario, and at Atelier Circulaire, Montreal, Quebec.
